Walk in. Browse the humidor. Ask questions or don’t. Pick a cigar. Sit down. Light up. That’s it. No membership required. No cover charge. No minimum purchase beyond the cigar you came to smoke.

The only thing we ask is that you smoke what you buy here. Bring your own drink, bring your own company, but the cigars come from the humidor. Fair enough.

Matthew McDavid, the owner, came up through cigar culture as a customer before he was ever a proprietor. He knows what it feels like to see a fifteen-dollar cigar marked up to twenty-two because it’s being smoked in a lounge.

Hemingway’s prices are the retail price. Period. The lounge is the experience, not the markup. You are not paying for the chair. You are paying for the cigar, and the cigar is priced right.

The house stick, a Nat Cicco Sin Toro, runs $9.95. It’s the most popular cigar in the building by volume. Two hundred and fifty-two sold since opening. That should tell you something about the clientele: they know value, and they keep coming back.

Membership Exists. It Just Isn’t Required.

If you find yourself coming back, membership makes the math even better. Twenty percent off all tobacco. Thirty percent off box purchases or twenty-cigar mix-and-match bundles. Twenty-five percent off accessories. Complimentary beverages.

Forty-five dollars a month. Five hundred a year. Cancel anytime.

Veterans, active military, and first responders get it for free. Walk in with your ID and it’s done. No paperwork, no ceremony. Just the discount, the drinks, and the respect.

But the door is open to everyone. Member or not. First time or four-hundredth time. The humidor doesn’t check your card.
